Description
Heading the Finance vertical for India with the responsibility for all Controlling functions – internal control, financial accounting, AR/AP (key operational area for insurance brokers),
tax, treasury, internal/external audit, and T&E/non-core AP.
Manage and drive operational excellence in finance and related operations.
Work with the CEO to ensure that robust financial plans are in place to deliver the 3 year targets agreed with the Executive Committee.
Ensure that accounting policies, reporting requirements, financial control procedures and deadlines are effectively cascaded and embedded across the Business including Fiduciary management and reporting.
Compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements and deadlines, including preparation & sign off of Statutory Accounts, reporting to the Insurance regulator (IRDA) and governmental regulations including all Taxes.
Provide monthly reporting of P&L and Balance Sheet to the Regional office.( Singapore)
